Hale Avenue Townhomes  

CDF provided construction financing in partnership with First Financial Bank to the Avondale Development Corporation for the 7-unit townhome development in the heart of the Avondale neighborhood. This affordable, for-sale project was built on vacant land two blocks east of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.  

Impact: 

  • New construction of 7 affordable townhomes in Avondale 
  • Technical assistance and capacity building for community development corporation 
  • Conversion of long-vacant land to productive use 

Amount: $1,474,488 CDF construction loan in partnership with First Financial Bank 

Chamberlain Avenue    

The Chamberlain Avenue project in Lincoln Heights was a new construction, single-family home by a local contractor. The home was built on a vacant lot in an area with few newer housing choices. 

Impact: 

  • Infill, new construction of single-family home 
  • Support for small contractor business
