College Hill KeyMark
College Hill KeyMark is a multi-site, mixed-use, mixed-income project in the heart of the College Hill Neighborhood Business District. The College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (CHCURC) and 8K Development co-developed the project, resulting in the complete rehabilitation of 4 vacant and blighted buildings, creating 26 housing units and 11,598 sf of commercial space.
Impact:
- Rehabilitation of 4 buildings in the neighborhood business district
- Creation of 26 mixed-income housing units, including 7 units at 65% AMI
- Activation of 4 storefront spaces
- $9.6 million investment
Amount: $3,100,000 Construction loan in partnership with WesBanco, $7 million NMTC Allocation, $150,000 Hamilton County ARPA

Avondale Town Center
Avondale Town Center involved the construction of three buildings totaling 119 residential units (50 affordable) and 84,516sf commercial space in the heart of the Avondale Neighborhood Business District. The project brought high-quality market rate and affordable housing to the neighborhood, as well as commercial space for local goods and services such as a grocery store, a restaurant, and a dentist office. The Reading Road project is on a major transit line, where the city’s first Bus Rapid Transit line will soon begin construction.
CDF provided a New Markets Tax Credit allocation of $12,564,102 to the project.

- 119 new residential units, including 50 affordable (LIHTC)
- 84,516sf commercial space

Allez Bar & Bakery
Allez Bar & Bakery opened in the Madisonville Neighborhood Business District in 2026, featuring fresh bread, pastries and lunch service. The $1.8 million project included the complete rehabilitation of 6012 Madison Road, a 5,500sf building.
CDF partnered with Alloy Development Company, Hamilton County’s economic development entity, to provide construction/permanent financing for the project. CDF also provided a subordinated Storefront Repopulation Loan.
Impact:
- 5,500 sf building rehabilitated
- New business in the heart of the neighborhood business district
- Support for locally owned business
Amount: $1,441,672 Construction loan in partnership with Alloy Development Company and a $250,000 subordinated Storefront Repopulation Loan
