Part of a three-phase community revitalization effort, this project involved renovation of a struggling retail strip at the heart of the neighborhood business district. Three mixed-use buildings were constructed with first-floor commercial space and 119 residential units (50 affordable). Financed with loans and New Markets Tax Credits from CDF, the project created a pedestrian-oriented neighborhood center/destination with quality retail options as well as commercial goods and community services.
