CDF provided financing for materials and contractor services needed to rehabilitate a single-family home. Financing supported the Easter Seals Tristate YouthBuild program, a U.S. Department of Labor initiative where men and women ages 17-24 work to earn their high school diploma or GED while preparing for a career in construction or advanced manufacturing. This project involved the complete rehabilitation of a vacant, blighted, historic (1890) home, making it suitable for a low- to moderate-income home buyer.
