City of Cincinnati ARPA RFP FAQ
(1) If we applied for Hamilton County ARPA funds in earlier 2023, will we still be eligible to receive Hamilton County ARPA funds in conjunction with Cincinnati ARPA funds. (2) If so, do we need to update our previous Hamilton County ARPA application?
- Yes. Projects may receive Hamilton County ARPA funds in conjunction with City of Cincinnati ARPA funds. And as a general reminder, CDF continues to accept inquiries for soft (forgivable loans/grants) and hard (amortizing debt) financing support from the larger Affordable Housing Leverage Fund (AHLF) sources, including the City of Cincinnati Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF). CDF is therefore also encouraging shovel-ready gap-financing applications for these sources during the City ARPA RFP window and will be making award announcements for those sources on a timeline generally consistent with the City ARPA RFP. Details regarding the basic eligibility rules for AHLF sources can be found here.
- Yes. Please update applications if there have been any material changes to the application, whether any of the financing assumptions or the requested amount.
Is this funding for City of Cincinnati only? If so, do you have similar funding available for the county?
Yes, this RFP is for projects located within the City of Cincinnati, only. Projects located outside of the City of Cincinnati but within Hamilton County are encouraged to apply for the Hamilton County ARPA RFP, which can be found here.
